I grew up in Reno, Nevada and from an early age, I sensed that the conventional path wasn't for me. That suspicion became undeniable my first semester of college when I hit rock bottom. My hand would shake filling out multiple-choice quizzes and I was having nervous breakdowns. My environment was trying to shape me into someone I was not. I had lost my center of gravity and ultimately, I fell into a deep depression.

At this time, I didn’t know astrology beyond that I was a Pisces. Two fish swimming in opposite directions and being hypersensitive, that’s all there was to this, right?

Little did I know, there was so much more I had yet to discover.

What followed was two decades of following every thread that felt alive. I became a full-time yoga teacher, a professional fire and hoop dancer, a licensed massage therapist, a Go-Go dancer, a tribal belly dancer with the Reno World Dance Collective troupe, and a hoop-making entrepreneur.

I studied Nondual Shaiva Tantra with Hareesh in the Nectar of Awareness immersion, completed a yearlong Urban Priestess training, and became certified in Ashiatsu therapy.

Each experience was bringing me closer and closer to my truth — even when I couldn't yet name what I was moving toward.

My turning point came at a coffee bar in Reno around my first Saturn return. I was grading final essays from my community college yoga teaching job when I met an astrologer named Darrel. It felt like destiny had fallen into my hands.

He explained things about me using my birth chart, articulating things I had never found words for. Before we parted, he said: "It wouldn't surprise me if one day you were able to teach me something about astrology."

That seed was planted. I had the map to myself -- my past, present and future.

Since then, I've built a practice that weaves together everything I am.

I graduated from the Health Coach Institute in 2017, completed the Graduate program in Transformational Coaching Method (TMC) in 2019, and spent two rigorous years training at the Portland Psychic School in 2020. I've been reading charts professionally since 2019 and am currently a Year 3 student at Astrology University. I'm consistently awe-inspired at the elegance and practicality of this divine system.

The girl who once shook through a microeconomics quiz, who spent a night in a psychiatric ward wondering what was wrong with her — she now knows it was Uranus making a conjunction to her sun, right on time. My individuation journey. An archetype that represents sudden awakenings, radical departures from the known, and the impulse to break away from a limiting situation or mindset.
